While people are slowly discovering the benefits of article marketing, not everyone knows how to actually excel in it. Fortunately for an article marketer like you, you can now discover seven high powered secrets to excel in this incredible way of generating not only traffic but additional income in the long run as well.

1. Write articles packed with information. Make sure that the articles you want to promote are those that have useful data and statistics. Don’t market an article that may look lengthy but actually doesn’t hold much information.

2. Ensure that the titles of your articles are attention grabbing. Don’t use common, boring and run-of-the-mill titles as these hardly entice readers anymore.

3. Make sure that the words found in your article don’t sound “snobbish.” In other words, don’t use terms that aren’t commonly used. Simple and easy to understand words are always the better choice.

4. Offer interesting and current facts. To make your articles appear fresh and recent, use examples taken off of current events and prominent people.

5. Your articles should also have grammatically correct and properly spelled words. This one is self explanatory.

6. Write with a little sense of urgency. Make your readers feel that they need to do something about the problem on hand or else they’ll “lose” something important. For instance, if you’re selling an eBook, persuade your readers to buy your eBook right away because they might miss out on a great income generating opportunity.

7. Insert a well written author’s bio at the end of every article. The author’s bio or resource box should contain a few words about the article writer and the address of the writer’s web blog or website. The author’s bio should also have attention grabbing words.
