Life is about, Love, Inspiration, Faith and Endeavour.
The Inspiration is our ideas and the Endeavour is the effort that we put in, to make those ideas happen, but for them to be successful we have to build our lives on the strong foundations, of Love and Faith.
If we have Love all around us from our parents, our family and friends we are cocooned in a feeling of protection, but that is only half the story, if we have Faith in the people around us, and, or a Faith in spiritual terms, then we feel trust, which gives us a sense of security and completes the strength of the foundations.
When we first start out in this world we have no fears, we are innocent to our surroundings and have no idea what it means to be negative. All that we learn will come from our experiences and our attitude from this early beginning is one of being positive.
For example, when a baby is learning to walk do you ever hear them say, “but I can’t do it”, no, they just keep on trying until they succeed, they can only think positive, they do not know what it means to give up and they have never been taught the idea that it might be impossible.
As we grow up, hopefully in a cocoon of unconditional love, we are able to observe and learn many activities, to gain many experiences and to be told many different ideas, but if we have a trust in the people that we are involved with, we stay positive in our thoughts and attitude.
For as long as we are confident that the feeling of protection and security is true and strong in our lives, then there is nothing that will cause our positive attitude to be in any way altered or diminished, even if we are facing the many inevitable adversities of life.
As long as we have a trust in the people around us or a trust, (faith), in a spiritual sense then we remain positive and can really achieve so many successful things in our lives. If we start to lose that trust in other people, then we turn to God and if our trust, (faith), is strong we will persevere and remain positive because we have hope.
But, if we also do not have trust, (faith), in God, whether we didn’t have it from the beginning of our lives, or we have lost our trust, (faith) along the way, then we become negative and pessimistic about life and find it almost impossible to consider that we could be successful.
So it is having, or not, trust, (faith) that is the pivotal point and the deciding factor as to whether our attitude is positive, optimistic or negative, pessimistic.
If we lose trust in the people around us, whether that is our parents, our children, family, friends, colleagues or neighbours, then it is because they have changed or done something to lose our trust.
But if we lose trust, (faith) in God and our spiritual life, then it is because we have changed how we feel inside, about our spiritual life and what we believe in when it comes to thinking about God.
The Love that God has for us never changes, it is unconditional and constant. If we stop having faith in God, then it means that we have given up on hope and it is then totally understandable that without hope our world, that we live in, suddenly looks very negative.
The strength of our foundations begin to crumble and without that strength we find it very difficult to be inspired, to think of ideas, which leaves us with a feeling of not needing to put any effort, no endeavour into what we do in our lives.
In this situation we not only think very negative, we also seem to face a lot of adversity in our lives, which we find very difficult to overcome, pushing us even deeper into our depression and despair.
Maybe, after quite a long time, someone will come along that you can build trust in again, a new friend, a respected colleague at work or a new neighbour that has moved into your community.
But, why wait for something to happen from someone else, outside of yourself, when you have it within your power, to determine your way of thinking, your attitude of mind and your outlook on life.
Make anew or re-establish your connection with God, feel the Love that he has for you, walk strong in His Grace and build your trust in Him. That trust will re-enforce your feeling of hope and with that your mind will turn to more positive things.
You will find that you can do so many things more successfully and as each day goes past, you rebuild your foundations, regain the strength and find that you have many new ideas, that you are willing to put the effort into realising.
You wake up with a different outlook on life, feeling full of energy and vitality, nothing and nobody is going to stop you being the person you always wanted to be, and you just know that you are going to succeed in your life in everything that you do.
Being optimistic and having a positive attitude is instinctively built into us from the very beginnings of our lives. We are all born with a positive attitude and by having Faith in God we will stay that way.
