I believe that President Lincoln said about two hundred and thirty six plus years ago after the civil war that took the lives of hundreds of thousands of American`s on both sides let our nation bind our wounds and heal a nation. How many years have to go by before the healing is complete? How many families have some family members that fought and died in the civil war? How many different nationalities of people have died in the civil war? I think if we go back through all our blood lines people will find connections of every race died for our nation. Still people do not heal the wounds that keep us separated as a nation.

In today’s day and age, many children – and adults for that matter – find themselves overwhelmed with their tightly packed lives.
Occasionally, it is enjoyable to have a full day of fun activities, but some folks think it would be nice to have every day jammed with their favorite pastimes. However, if kids get used to having overly crammed days it can have a negative impact on them later on in life.

If children’s lives are an endless rush from one activity to another, jumping around from place to place like a flaming grasshopper, they will start to lose their attention span. Eventually, they won’t be able to concentrate and just do one thing for a long period of time, like watch a movie all the way through to the end without getting bored, read a book for more than a few minutes, listen to a full set of directions or even finish reading this article. Instead, they’ll want to hop from thing to thing to thing.

The search for a literary agent is often carried out online because this is a fast and instant way to get results. But using online information, which has its advantages (immediacy, recency, and speed), also has certain disadvantages for the writer. Chief among these are the fact that the online information may be hard to verify, it may be outdated, and it may not give sufficient data about the agents’s interests and recent sales. Ironically, you may sometimes get better or more accurate information from print sources. This article explains why and when to use books to find a literary agent.

HOW TO LOOK FOR A LITERARY AGENT IN BOOKS

That is an odd question. It is kind of like asking “How much money is too much money?” In a nutshell the answer is … you can never write too many articles.

In the business of Article Marketing every article that you write means money. It would only make sense that the more articles you can create the more money you can make. The key to succeeding in Article Marketing is writing. You must write today, tomorrow and continue to write every day after that.

When you begin your article writing career it can seem a bit daunting, especially if you are someone who is not used to sitting at your computer for hours per day. I had been a jock in high school and never took any real creative writing or journalism related courses so the thought of having to write articles every day seems overwhelming. Once I decided that I was going to write every day I got used to it and it got easier. I am sure it will be the same for you.

First read this news excerpt from Financial times …

“When not working on a new suite of songs, Neil Young likes nothing better than to hang out in the “train barn” at his Californian ranch where he has an exotic model railway collection. In some respects, the rock star – is typical of the kind of collector the hobby is used to: ageing baby boomers with a longing for the rolling stock of yesteryear. Adult collectors account for estimated three-quarters of the industry’s sales.”

Writing a press release is a creative job and like all other art forms it should be able to attract people. The impact of a press release is much more than an ordinary article. There are few steps that should be taken care off. Here are eight key ways to press release writing.

First key is to make your press release interesting. Try to grab the attention of the readers. The readers should be motivated to read the whole press release.

Second key is to maintain continuity between the press releases. The people should wait for the next release as soon as they go through first release.

Third step is to use press release judiciously. It should be means of carrying information and news and it should not be dilated with advertisements.

Fourth key is to make sure that the heading is catchy and the first paragraph says it all but still compels reader to read complete article.

New freelance writers often ask how much they should charge for a particular medical writing project. There is no definitive answer to that: some freelancers charge per hour, others charge per word, and still others charge per project.

I have met medical writers who never charge a flat fee, no matter the project–they think in terms of how much their time is worth. Other writers, however, prefer not to tally hours, but instead put a fixed price on a project–is their decision how many hours to invest in the project.

I believe that the method you choose must depend on your skills, your speed as a writer, and your work habits.

“A slow writer may have a low hourly rate, which would appeal to a client until they get the bill. A faster writer may operate at a premium rate but complete the task in half the time, making him or her cheaper and quicker, which is why you need to talk in terms of the bottom line—the overall cost of the project and the overall benefits to the client.” (Michael Meanwell, The Wealthy Writer, Writer’s Digest Books)

FORWARD

Kal Bishop’s 188 stage Hero’s Journey (Monomyth) is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. In fact, ALL of the hundreds of Hollywood movies we have deconstructed (see URL below) are based on this 188+ stage template. Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters. This is the template you must master if you are to succeed in the craft.

[The terminology is most often metaphoric and applies to all successful stories and screenplays, from The Godfather (1972) to Brokeback Mountain (2006) to Annie Hall (1977) to Lord of the Rings (2003) to Drugstore Cowboy (1989) to Thelma and Louise (1991) to Apocaplyse Now (1979)].

THERE IS ONLY ONE STORY

TRANSFORMATION

Every Hero goes on a Physical Journey, the function of which is to stimulate a Psychological Transformation. It is the undergoing of the Journey that gives the Hero the capacity to conquer those challenges that were previously unconquerable.
