The reason why most people have unsatisfactory results in their life, is because they have poor communication skills. People get frustrated when they don’t get what they want,and often times don’t realize it is because they did not communicate clearly, what it is they wanted.

We live in a physical, dualistic, relative universe. The concept of relativity is what allows us to experience the physical and the non-physical, the spirit and the ego, the seen and the unseen. To use this powerful tool of relativity and to experience what we know ourselves to be, spirit children of God with all of God’s abilities, we must first come to know the opposite.

When God created the physical world and the physical concept of relativity, he had to bring into existence the opposite of those aspects that define God. Love is at God’s core. This is what God is. In order to experience love, God had to bring into the relative world the concept of the opposite of love.

When Prince Gautama, whose father shielded him from the realities of life outside the palace stepped out, he learned the first noble truth, the truth of sickness, old age, and death. The truth of suffering. It is a privilege to live as a human being, but privilege always comes with responsibility. Until we realize enlightenment in this lifetime there will always be something that will cause us to suffer. How do we deal with it?

I read this story a long time ago and could not remember the book from which to quote it.

We are God, also. We are the creators of our own reality. I am God. You are God. God is in all of us. God is in all things. God is not some bearded entity in heaven that looks down upon us, pulling the strings of our life events, telling us which way to go and what to do and how to live.

The search for defining God has been a major focus since the beginning of recorded history. The consistent theme throughout has been that God was an entity outside of our selves that had control over every facet of nature and of human behavior.

In case you haven’t noticed - we’re not in Kansas anymore Toto! The Garden of Eden is long gone, and there’s something deep inside us that really resents that.

All of us, without fail, have experienced the pain of failure, rejection, abandonment, and betrayal. We’ve been “missed”, unappreciated, misjudged, and abused in one form or another. Our hearts have been stomped on in countless creative ways, and if we let it, those wounds can and WILL color our perspective and absolutely BLOCK US from becoming the person we were meant to be, living the life we were meant to live, fulfilling our dreams, and walking out our full potential. And something in us at a subconscious level is really ticked off about that because that’s NOT the way life was supposed to be! We were made for a life of eternity in the Garden.
