Let’s further consider the implications of experiencing “instantly familiar strangers”:

Truly, we are all one, a single consciousness presenting itself in an infinite number of variations. Meeting itself; playing games with itself; studying itself through other eyes. Within the single, unified consciousness—the primary identity—not only are there the vast number of individuals (the most segmented level of awareness) that we see in our world (and beyond what we can see), there are also an infinite number of larger subsets of the primary identity. As mentioned in my article a couple of weeks ago, some people refer to these larger groupings of consciousness by names such as “soul families” or “soul groups”. There are subsets within these intermediary subsets, down to pairings of individuals—“spirit mates”, “soul mates”, etc.

We live in a physical, dualistic, relative universe. The concept of relativity is what allows us to experience the physical and the non-physical, the spirit and the ego, the seen and the unseen. To use this powerful tool of relativity and to experience what we know ourselves to be, spirit children of God with all of God’s abilities, we must first come to know the opposite.

When God created the physical world and the physical concept of relativity, he had to bring into existence the opposite of those aspects that define God. Love is at God’s core. This is what God is. In order to experience love, God had to bring into the relative world the concept of the opposite of love.

In the book of Acts in the New Testament at Chapter 18 and verse 7, when serious trouble broke out yet again in the city of Corinth, this man of God, Paul, left the synagogue and went into the home of a man who lived next door - Titius Justus - a man who was truly sincere in his worship.

Something rather wonderful happened. Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, and so did all who lived in his home.

Have you ever read and perhaps even more importantly studied one book of the Bible? Let’s look at the Gospel of Luke. Who is Luke and why did he write this book which has become part of what is known as The Word of God.

Many people had been writing about Jesus and writing about the Life and Ministry of Jesus Christ. We have some of these writings. There were many rumours going around - many myths - many stories - many fanciful legends growing up. You can imagine! This invariably happens with someone unusual or famous.
Luke tells us, “I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning …” Now, this is important. Luke wants to reassure people, that what they believe about Jesus Christ is true. He wants us to be able to rely upon this account of the life and ministry and teaching of Jesus Christ.

Surfing through the Internet the other evening I was most surprised to come across a cooking site with the basis of this piece below which had been written some weeks previously.

My task in life is to speak and preach and teach and write so as to reach people who may not otherwise be reached with the vital message of the good news of Jesus Christ - that Jesus Christ shed His Blood an died on the Cross to wash away all our sin and give us a fresh start.

The importance of waking up the sleepwalkers is not just for the individual awakening but also because the world needs you right now.

Your decision to be conscious and make conscious choices is critical at this juncture of life on the planet earth. We have come to a point on this planet where we are in jeopardy of destroying the very livability of the planet that sustains us.

Who Is This Jesus Christ? Is it not very interesting that spirituality comes under the banner of Self Improvement? Here is Someone Who can help us improve in ways in which no other person can. Yes, that is some claim but it is true.

The incarnation (or birth) of Jesus Christ was the most important watershed in history. We date our days from His birth, but very few people really know who HE is.

During the course of my spiritual growth, I realized that most people are addicts, in one way or another. And that addiction is not a physical or a psychological disease, but a disconnection from Source Energy and from our Higher Selves.

When we’re disconnected from our higher selves (the source of love and higher emotions), we must look for something outside of ourselves to fill that hole in our soul. This attachment or craving (not desire, as is popularly believed) is noted, in Buddhism, as the cause of suffering.

Do you ever feel you need this type of support? I don’t know if this man felt he needed it but Someone did and produced the goods! The situation must have been extremely serious to demand such powerful help.

Turn in your Bible to Acts Chapter 23, and there discover what I mean. It is personal, pertinent and powerful.

Paul is on trial in Jerusalem for his belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. This is what is at stake. This is what has been causing trouble everywhere he preached and taught, and as he speaks the Jerusalem Courtroom is divided. Paul brings to the surface the underlying divisions. Some Pharisees arose and flew their flag - “We find nothing wrong with this man.” - and the dispute within the Sanhedrin deepened.
